Johari Jewellery needed more than just a polished look — they wanted a brand identity that celebrated their African roots while feeling timeless, tactile, and luxurious. For women who value quality, craftsmanship, and meaningful pieces, but without relying on literal ‘African’ visual tropes.


The jewellery market is saturated with sameness. Johari’s challenge was to carve out space as a premium brand that felt both globally aspirational and proudly African. The visuals needed to balance heritage with refinement, ensuring the identity resonated across diverse audiences. I created a visual identity and packaging system infused with rich, earthy tones, refined typography, and textures inspired by African landscapes. Every detail — from the monogram to the unboxing experience — was designed to feel like a celebration of culture elevated through a modern, luxurious lens.
